All About Us

We were married in March 1974 and have two children and four grandchildren.

 Our first Beagle Mitzi came to us in 1987, then later in October the same year our little Katie arrived.

We started to show our two girls at Companion and Open shows. 

Then we bred our first litter under the Lyndex Affix,  and the most important thing to us is to breed for quality, type and temperament. 

In 1989  we were lucky enough to purchase our first show quality Beagle bitch from the world famous Dialynne kennel her name was Dialynne Blacklace. Lace was our foundation bitch, from which all our dogs descend from today.

We decided that we wanted to extend our Beagle family, so we sold our South London business and our house in Kent and we bought our Boarding Kennels and Cattery in East Anglia, I was also given two five week old kittens, who I named Jack & Jill, Jack went missing when he was a year old, Jill stayed with us until she was put to sleep because of cancer two years ago aged 15. 

We sold the Kennels after eight years and moved to a bungalow with a bit of land in East Anglia, where we still live today with our seven lovely Beagles who all carry the name Lyndex.

 My other interests are reading and photography. I love watching horror films and I must admit I’m also a Trekkie (sad I know).

 Deryck likes to watch TV documentaries, and he is the Beagle Club UK Hon Secretary, which takes up a lot of his time. I am also a committee member.
